  My mum has advanced Alzheimers and it’s been a very difficult journey as the illness has taken hold. Mum has complex needs and is now on the end of life pathway. It’s very distressing ..... but I know the staff who are involved with her care are amazing. As I’ve been spending more time with mum I’ve witnessed how professional they are and how much they care about the residents and their wellbeing. I take great comfort in this. The change of management has had a positive effect on staff too. Thank you to everyone on Floor 2 who cares for my mum and offers me support.
